Our Story
Founded in 2024, Career First Institute is dedicated to preparing students for rewarding careers in high-demand fields. We currently offer specialized programs in Dental Assisting and Information Technology (IT)—two industries where skilled professionals are always in need.
Our Dental Assisting Program is uniquely designed to give students hands-on training in a real dental office. Classes take place when the office is closed to patients, allowing students to gain practical experience in treatment rooms, labs, sterilization areas, x-ray equipment, and front desk operations. This real-world environment, combined with classroom instruction, ensures graduates are confident and career-ready.
Our IT Program equips students with the technical knowledge and practical skills to succeed in today’s technology-driven workforce. From troubleshooting and networking to security and support, students receive industry-relevant training that prepares them for CompTIA certifications and entry-level IT careers.
In 2025, Career First Institute was certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). More information about SCHEV can be found at www.schev.edu.
